- SSStephen St.QuintonMay 19, 20265.0We have endured a chaotic period during which rent on our 2 properties were withheld by agents FJL, despite having been paid on time by tenants. Countless phone call messages went unreturned, emails unanswered, promises broken until finally the funds were released to us by FJL yesterday. The stand out exception to this sorry episode has been JEAN PIPER in the Bow office. Super competent and efficient, Jean has taken responsibility for solving the problems, liaised with FJL accounts, apologised several times. She even contacted our tenants to say sorry to them for the mess FJL had caused. Jean is an absolute diamond and the 5* score is for her. As for FJL accounts department, 1* is one too many!

From start to finish, Gurmukh, Sachin and the wider team delivered an outstanding level of service that genuinely stood out from other estate agents I’ve dealt with. Communication throughout the process was excellent — clear, proactive and reassuring at every stage. What really impressed me was the team’s tenacity and determination to get the property sold. Their experience and understanding of the local market meant that the right potential buyers were coming through the door, rather than wasting time with unsuitable viewings. Most importantly, FJL offered a genuinely personal approach. At every point I felt valued as a client, not treated as just another sale or transaction. The team took the time to understand the property, provide honest advice, and support the process in a way that felt both professional and human. A huge thank you to Gurmukh, Sachin and the team for all their hard work. I would wholeheartedly recommend FJL Bow to anyone looking to buy or sell property in the area.

Bad communication throughout the tenancy including failing to respond to emails and failing to inform of crucial communal changes including changing of locks to a bike store. It took over a month to get our deposit back from leaving the rental property with no communication despite several emails and phone calls. Also, be very careful when leaving any property as the property management/landlords kept making things up to deduct from our deposit despite evidence against their claims. Would advise letters to look at other alternatives.
